We had good dinner experience at the restaurant today. We ordered Mysore Masala, plain masala, paper masala, and onion chilli dosas, as well as mendu vada and some other items. Everything tasted great. Staff members were helpful and courteous! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving vegetarian South Indian food. 🙏🙏

Place is not good as the reviews says. Houston have tons of better choices.

My experience in Saravanaa Bhavan is quite good. I had Mysore Masala Dosa and Paper Dosa. Both are good. Front Staff :- They forget the hospitality of Indians. Owner / The Boss should make sure that your staff welcomes customers with a smile , greetings and guidance. The food is really good but the hospitality is not up to the mark. It's a request. If you change this you will get more business. 🙏.

Food is delicious. I’m pregnant and feel like a home made food taste. It’s really worth it but servant lady so rude she don’t want to welcome the guest and when we make a online payment we don’t add tips we think we will give cash but she behaves like impertinent . Owner should look for it seriously

We went for a weekend brunch and upon arrival the restaurant was crowded and lively. There was a bit of a wait (15 min) before we were seated. After being seated, we waited probably another 15 min before a someone came to take our order. We asked for water and glasses twice. Service was slow and just pitiful. Food was fresh and decently good. That’s probably the reason people come back. We ordered mostly dosas, masala and plain, gobhi manchurian and a savory semolina dish. Each dosa was served with chutneys and sambar. Gobhi Manchurian was delicious. The semolina dish we ordered didn’t arrive until we finished our food and husband was at the counter paying. That’s how slow the service there was. We told them we didn’t want it at that point. Overall, service is nonexistent but if you’re craving veg and want fresh dosas, then it’s worth coming.

One of our most fav go to spots for South Indian food in Houston. Dosa, rava dosa, chola poori, parotta, vada are our general favs. Recommend trying their combos to get a taste of many of their signature items.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saravanaa Bhavan, a nice vegetarian restaurant nestled in Sugar Land. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance, kindness of the manager, with good lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. The menu boasted a delightful array of vegetarian options, from classic comfort foods to innovative culinary creations. I was particularly impressed by their signature dish Saravanaa Special Meal and Mysore Dosa, which was bursting with vibrant flavors and beautifully presented with a colorful array of fresh vegetables. The attentive staff provided excellent service throughout the meal, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. Despite the casual atmosphere, the prices were reasonable, making this restaurant a fantastic value for the quality of food and service received. Overall, my experience at Saravanaa exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to any vegetarian or food enthusiast looking for a memorable dining experience.

I have eaten here many times, the food is wonderful! I was not very familiar with the cuisine when I first came and started with the combo#1 💗 Everything! The owner remembers us when we come in and spent extra time with us today to give new recommendations on the Special entree AMAZING and helped me with the best way to enjoy the different curries that came with it! I appreciated the help and recommendations! I love it here even more!! They do have busy times, which should show you how good the food is - it's worth the wait!!

I have been to many sarvana Bhavans in US but this is the best branch in my openion . Every item I have ordered is so delicious, if you happen to visit this location don’t forget to eat their gobi 65 , paneer butter masala , kadai paneer and needless to say they have amazing thali . Most important point is the way they treat their customers a special shout out to Santosh and Sarani who took such a good care of me and my friends during our visit. I highly recommend this place

We’ve been here several times, the manager is extremely attentive and caters to customers needs. He custom makes orders to our taste. I recently met the new server who was a bit off putting, kept confirming the same order multiple times and then came back again to confirm twice more 🤯🤯 by then my folks were through eating !! However the manager was very welcoming and personally tended to us. Other than a little hiccup with the new young lady server, we love the place and HIGHLY recommend it!!

Saravanaa Bhavan is one of those places where you can always expect a consistent and great menu. As someone who has visited the chain of restaurants in the past, I went in fully knowing what to expect. And as always, the food hits the spot! Plenty of parking. The amount of time you have to wait will depend on when you go in. My family of 10 people stopped for a late lunch. It took us about 10 minutes to be seated. The one thing they could improve is service. We were seated at the far end of the restaurant. So obviously, the waiter checked on us not often. Also, they forgot an item that I ordered. It was an extra add-on Porotta so I didn't mind it. But shows a lack of attention to service. Prices are typical for what you might expect from a restaurant like this. Our group of 10 people (8 adults and 2 kids) rang up $190.

An authentic vegetarian culinary haven, where the dosas are an absolute revelation. Our arrival, marked by ravenous hunger, transported me back to the fond memories of Bangalore. The establishment offers a genuine taste of South Indian cuisine with proper authenticity. While the service could benefit from some improvements, the excellence of the food unquestionably overshadows these minor shortcomings.

This place is delicious! Visit! The menu is vast and vegetarian, so you will find something of interest and won't miss the meat! I've visited often and tried different dishes. The mutter paneer, samosas, mushroom biryani, garlic naan, and paneer Kadai are all excellent choices if you are new to Indian food. I recently took a couple friends to try Indian for the first time, and they fell in love! This is definitely worth the visit! Some things to note: *A couple of the servers do not speak English as their first language. However, every server has been deferential and polite and are fully capable of taking your order. *The food can take a moment to come out. It's being cooked fresh, I believe. *They do not take Tap to Pay, but do take cash or card. *The patrons seem mostly from India and the surrounding region. (I know this may not be the most appropriate statement, but I find encouragement about the menu, when a restaurant is predominantly frequented by the patrons who eat the same food at home.... It's a salute to the authenticity and taste to me!)

Good place for Dosa’s, vegetarian meals and light South Indian snacks. The taste and quality are consistent. Service can be slow at times.

We came here during the weekend. There was not much rush. The food was delivered within a few minutes after ordering. We all ordered different varieties of Dosa's. All the food we ordered were fresh and tasty. We were served adequate sambar and chutneys. Filter coffee was nice. Would definitely come back.

Saravana Bhavan never fails to delight with its authentic and flavorful South Indian cuisine, making it a must-visit destination for food lovers. The Mini Idlis, a perfect choice for kids, are not only adorable but also incredibly soft, soaking up the savory sambar and coconut chutney like little sponges of deliciousness. For the adults, the Saravana Special Dosa is a culinary masterpiece, with its crispy edges and a rich filling that tantalizes the taste buds. And of course, no meal here is complete without their signature coffee - a robust and aromatic brew that perfectly rounds off the dining experience. The casual, family-friendly atmosphere of Saravana Bhavan adds to its charm, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal that's big on flavor. Whether you're a fan of South Indian cuisine or a curious first-timer, this place is sure to leave you with a satisfied smile and a happy stomach.

Weather was very cold so the restaurant was quiet. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Food was served quickly, and was delicious! We loved everything we bought. We will definitely return. I rated down on atmosphere because we were seated next to a window which had a lot of water damage: peeling or peeled paint, mold. The rest of the restaurant looked clean and neat, but they need to get this one window fixed.

I have been here twice now. Just love it! The people are warm and inviting. All the food is fresh and made to order. Don’t go here when you are in a hurry because it takes time to cook your food. It’s a dining experience. The second time I ate here I took my mother. She couldn’t beleive how good the food was and neither one of us got sick. She and I have food sensitivities. The waiter asked us about ours. The owner came out and helped us choose dishes. There was plenty of food. I even had food to take home. The flavor was amazing. My 79 yo mom loved that it wasn’t overly spicy. I like coming to Saravanaa Bhavan because it’s vegetarian. There’s not enough vegetarian restaurants in my area. This place is really a treat. You don’t need need to feel full and satisfied.

I have visited Saravana Bhavan in Chennai, Kanchipuram, New Delhi, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Toronto, and every location in the US. This chain provides consistent taste, prompt service and freshly prepared food served in an Impeccably clean environment. You will never have any trouble after eating their food. Amongst all of SBs I have visited, my favorites are Alandur (Chennai) and Sugar Land (Texas). Although all SBs have identical taste (and in most cases menu too), Sugar Land SB is my favorite because of the staff. Manager is personally paying attention to the guests, and staff is quick to respond. Their special meal is generously sized and instead of you having to ask for extra serving of day curry, manager or his staff will be asking if you need anything. For the Indian population it serves, wait time is under 5 minutes (compared to smaller SB in Plano, TX where it could be 30+ minutes on Friday/Saturday). Most SBs have a congested layout, not this one. Not only this location is spacious, the ambiance is pleasing. As I said, all SBs have consistent menu, taste, cleanliness and this location stands apart for the personalized attention by the manager and staff. Whenever in Houston, give it a try.

The Sarvana Special Dosa was fantastic, uttapam was delicious, and the filter coffee was really awesome; I really liked the taste-tried it first time.

The customer service, price and quality haircut, if you want these you need to come here. I absolutely recommend this place!

This barbershop does great beard trim ups and haircuts. Easily the best quality in the area, especially for guys with thicker hair. Price is more than fair, considering how much time and attention to detail they take on each client. Ask for Kamal, he’s busy but his team does just as good work!

I have been a regular at Best barber for almost a year now. Everytime I come I'm treated good by everyone in the shop. They always honor their appointments. Needless to say that my haircuts are always on point to a point that I never look at the mirror when they try to show me the final product. Can't recommend them enough!!!

I have been coming here for about a year and absolutely love this place. The barbers here are very professional and skilled. I bring my kids here as well and they always walk back with a big smile as they get the best hair cut at this place. The customer service, price and quality haircut, if you want these you need to come here. I absolutely recommend this place!

The underdogs. My son wanted a complex fade and this place was the only one open. We have it a shot and to our surprise the result was amazing. Could be the one barber who cut the hair. However we will definitely not hesitate to go back.

I have been a customer of this shop for years. Sometimes a bit of waiting is worth for the final result of skilled craftsmanship. The chief stylist Kamal is excellent with many years of experience.
